MANHATTAN - Early on Sunday, April 28th, Riley County Police Officers patrolling Aggieville in the 1100 block of Moro Street heard a gunshot near where they were patrolling.
Just before 2:00 am, officers entered the walkway between 1101 and 1109 Moro Street, where they saw two vehicles leaving the area.
One vehicle drove speedily away from the area, while the other driver was quickly stopped without incident by RCPD officers.
Officers located a shell casing and quickly established a crime scene.
No arrests have been made in connection with the incident, however, RCPD says there are no indications that the community as a whole has been targeted by this incident.
