UPDATE:
The Army announced via social nedia that Fort Riley Garrison Commander, Col. Michael Foote, issued an update Tuesday afternoon on the efforts to recover from a Sunday night water main break. Repairs are underway on the broken pipe. Water pressure has been restored to the installation, but the boil water advisory issued by the Kansas Department of Health and Environment remains in effect.
Residents with questions, concerns or issues can call the Corvias Neighborhood Center or 1-844-533-0456 after hours. Fort Riley will continue to provide updates via Facebook as they get more information or the situation changes.

The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has issued a boil water advisory Monday for portions of Fort Riley. Residents in these areas are asked to boil water for drinking and cooking as well as continue to conserve water until further notice.
The water main that provides water to Historic Main Post, Marshall Army Airfield, Camp Funston, and Camp Whitside was damaged at 8:00 p.m. Sunday. All other areas of Fort Riley are not covered by this boil water notice. This impacts about 5,900 people living or working in those areas.
Crews have isolated the broken water main, and water was rerouted to restore water to Historic Main Post, Marshall Army Airfield, Camp Whitside, and Camp Funston.
Bottled water is being provided for residents at Corvias Leasing Office, 45 Barry Avenue, Historic Main Post. The Long Fitness Center, 8069 Normandy Drive, will be open Monday from 3 to 10 p.m. for Families living in affected neighborhoods to use for showering. Please bring your own towels.
Water drop points are set up for other uses, such as cleaning and flushing. Water point locations:
