Geary County Clerk seeks poll workers

Geary County Clerk Courtney Gilbert said Monday that poll worker recruitment is consistently mentioned as a priority for local election officials across Kansas. "Volunteers and temporary workers play an essential role on Election Day in helping with a variety of election day operations and we need your help."

To become a poll worker individuals can get started by contacting their local election office (785-238-3912) Volunteers must complete training, be registered to vote (if of voting age), be an American citizen, at least 16 years old and willing to take an oath of office. Volunteers do get compensation for their time.
