There was more than $8 million in investment funds downtown during the past year. That was one of the items touched on by Main Street Executive Director Michaela Joyce to the Junction City Commission this week. "That's a combination of grant dollars, building improvements between the Brewery and Opera House, and public facade grants."
Joyce said that the Main Street Market is moving locations this year to the corner of Ninth and Washington. Main Street is also partnering with Live Well Geary County this year to hire a combined market manager and coordinator to oversee the Thursday night market in the parking lot of JCNaz and the Main Street market on Saturdays.
