Kansas man jailed for alleged rural home burglary

SALINE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a burglary have made an arrest.

On May 19, a residential burglary was reported in the 3600 Block of Deer Road in Dickinson County, according to Undersheriff Jeff Vaughan. The victim reported over $3,000 worth of property was stolen.

The investigation led to a search warrant being obtained for a residence in Salina.  With assistance from the Salina Police Department, officers recovered some of the property reported stolen from Deer Road.

On June 13, a warrant was issued through the Dickinson County District Court for 40-year-old Brian Dickerman in reference to the burglary.

On Tuesday, a Saline County Deputy made contact with Dickerman and placed him under arrest for the Dickinson County warrant.

Dickerman is being held in the Saline County Jail on requested charges of   burglary, theft, and criminal damage to property, according Vaughan
