SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug charges after a traffic stop.
Just after 4:30 a.m. Friday, a deputy with the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a 1997 Dodge Ram pickup truck near SW 10th Street and SW Cambridge Avenue, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
The driver, Colton B. Magnuson, 31, of Saint George, had a revoked driver’s license. During the investigation, deputies found heroin.
Magnuson was booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and driving without a valid license.
