HARVEY COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just before noon Friday in Harvey County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Ford Expedition driven by Madison Jo Vinduska, 29, Marion, was turning from eastbound U.S. 50 to North East Lake Road.
The driver failed to yield to oncoming traffic while making the left turn. A westbound 2015 Ram 1500 driven by Kanitra Reatha Crump, 38, Wichita, struck the SUV.
EMS transported Vinduska to Wesley Medical Center. EMS also transported Crump and a 3-year-old male passenger from Marion in the Ford to the hospital in Newton. Vinduska was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
