Evergy has reported 1,184 customers, meaning locations, were without electricity at mid-day Tuesday. DS&O Electric Cooperative confirmed approximately 500 people in their service territory did not have electric service. DSO noted that there was an Evergy problem with a substation.
Evergy said that they expect to restore electricity about 1:30 p.m.
