KANSAS CITY— Fire crews have responded to a vacant apartment complex two dozen times and were called to fight a fire there again on Friday.

Just after 9a.m., crews responded to a reported fire in the 900 block of Olive, according to Battalion Chief Michael Hopkins.

 The fire was discovered by a KCFD Safety officer who was passing by. Due to the size of the fire, companies were forced to defensive posture. No&nbsp; injuries were reported. The street was temporarily blocked in both directions by fire apparatus and hose lines. The cause remains under investigation.
