Kansas State continues preparations for Tuesday’s game with No. 7/8 Oklahoma (14-5, 9-4 Big 12) at 8 p.m at Bramlage Coliseum. The game will air nationally on ESPN2.

K-State (6-18, 2-13 Big 12) will meet Oklahoma for the second time this season after the Sooners posted a 76-50 win at home on January 19. Oklahoma has a 110-102 advantage in the series that dates to 1920, but K-State is 63-36 at home, including a 17-8 mark at Bramlage Coliseum with 8 straight victories dating back to 2013.

Tuesday’s game continues a challenging stretch for the Wildcats, as the Sooners will represent the 11th ranked opponent this season, including the ninth in the last 11 games. Of head coach Bruce Weber’s school-record 26 Top 25 wins, six have come against ranked Sooner teams.

Oklahoma is one of the hottest teams in the nation with wins in 8 of the last 9 games, including nationally-ranked foes Kansas, Texas, Alabama, Texas Tech and West Virginia. The Sooners ran their winning streak to 3 on Saturday with a 66-56 victory at Iowa State.
