
Osage County—Law enforcement are investigating a suspect on multiple allegations.
Just before 10a.m. April 19, a Sheriff’s Deputy patrolling in Scranton, Kansas, observed an individual known to have active warrants for his arrest, according to Sheriff Chris Wells.
As deputies attempted to coordinate additional resources, the individual fled the area in a vehicle, resulting in a brief pursuit. The suspect later abandoned the vehicle and ran. A coordinated search was conducted involving multiple agencies.
At approximately 11:01 a.m., deputies located 42-year-old Tommy L. Marshall of Topeka and took him into custody without further incident.
Marshall was transported to the Osage County Jail and is being held on requested charges of Aggravated battery on law enforcement, Flee or attempt to elude, Criminal damage to property, Interference with law enforcement, Criminal possession of a firearm by a felon and Osage County arrest warrants.
The sheriff thanked the Kansas Wildlife & Parks - Game Wardens and the KHP for their assistance in the arrest.
