
ELK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating alleged illegal hunting and asking the public for help to identify suspects.
The game warden in Elk County is working to locate the individual(s) responsible for the illegal shooting of two Whitetail bucks, according to a social media report from the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks Game Wardens.

The bucks were believed to have been shot sometime between July 22 and 23 east of Oak Valley on private property.
