Detectives recover firearms stolen from Kansas home

JACKSON COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities investigating a burglary have made an arrest.

On December 7, a residence in near 110th and T Road in rural Jackson County reported  a number of firearms and a gun safe were stolen, according to Sheriff Tim Morse.

On Monday, detectives arrested John Michael Tyler, 40, Topeka in connection with the burglary.

He was booked into the Jackson County Jail on requested charges of burglary and theft. The stolen firearms were recovered by detectives, according to Morse.
