Junction City woman involved in 2-vehicle crash

CLAY COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 10:30p.m. Saturday in Clay County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Loretta L. Jackson, 83, Junction City, was south bound on Kansas 15 five miles west of Wakefield.

The driver attempted to make left turn, failed to yield right of way to a northbound 2019 Chevy Silverado driven by Vernon H. McGee. The Silverado overturned and came rest east shoulder.

EMS transported McGee to Clay County Medical Center. The KHP did not report Jackson was transported for treatment. She was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
