SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on drug allegations.
Just before 10:30p.m. 18, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Dodge Ram pickup near SW 21st Street and SW Topeka Boulevard for a registration violation, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.
During the stop, the deputy located illegal drugs. The deputy arrested Matthew Massek, 29, Topeka, on requested charges of Possession of a stimulant, marijuana, drug paraphernalia, a registration violation and criminal use of weapons.
