Jennifer Dixon, Director of Programs and Education at the Geary County Historical Society, presented a program titled, “Old, But What Is It?” to the JC Breakfast Optimist Club on Wedneday.

Dr. Ferrell Miller, Club Program Chair, said club members were invited to attempt to identify objects from the Geary County Historical Museum. She also shared that the Curator at the Museum, Heather Hagedorn, has created a digital display of marginalia. Marginalia is defined as notes, doodles, writings in the margin of books.

Student books with marginalia are included in the 33 slide display and may be viewed on JC Post, the Geary County Historical Society’s web page and face book page.
