SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a robbery and have made an arrest.

Just after 8:30p.m. Monday, police responded to report of a robbery from a person near Broadway and Murdoch in Wichita, according to officer Charley Davidson.

A victim told police a suspect later identified as Dalvin Brown, 27, Wichita, had approached him and asked about the value of his Connondale Road Bike.

While talking, Brown shoved the bicycle owner and fled with the bicycle.  Nearby Ascension Via Christi St. Francis Hospital Security observed the incident, arrested Brown, according to Davidson.

When police arrived, they took him into custody and booked him on requested charges of robbery, battery, marijuana possession and a state parole violation, according to online jail records.  Police returned the bicycle to the owner.
