Police: Kansas woman was growing marijuana near school

SHAWNEE COUNTY  —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a woman on numerous drug charges following an investigation. 

 On Tuesday, police served a narcotics search warrant in the 2800 SE Wisconsin, in Topeka, according to Lt. Jerry Monasmith.

As a result of the investigation, police arrested 61-year-old Linda Faidley and booked her into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of Cultivation of Marijuana, Distribution of Marijuana within a 1000 feet of a school and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
