NEOSHO COUNTY —A Kansas man died in an accident just after 3a.m. Thursday in Neosho County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Malibu driven by Timothy John Vanleeuwen, 36, Savonburg, was southbound on U.S. 59 just south of Kansas 39 Highway.
The car crossed the centerline, traveled off the roadway to the left and came to rest at the bottom of the ditch ravine.
Vanleeuwen was ejected in the crash, pronounce dead at the scene and was transported to the Forensic Center Kansas City. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
