SALINA —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect who was in possession of police property missing since December of 2020.
On Monday night, officers were sent to the 700 block of N. Fourth Street in Salina after report of suspicious activity. Once there, they made contact with Shadd Boese, 47, of Salina, who was in the driver's seat of a Toyota Land Cruiser, according to Salina Police Captain Paul Forrester.
Boese had an active warrant from Salina Municipal Court for failure to appear. During a search of the vehicle, officers located an X26P Taser that had been stolen from a police officer during a vehicle burglary in Saline County in December 2020, according to Forrester.
Boese was also in possession of methamphetamine that was without a tax stamp, as well as some narcotic pills.
Boese was arrested on requested charges of Felony possession with intent to distribute, Possession of methamphetamine, Possession of drug paraphernalia, No drug tax stamp and Possession of stolen property.
