SHAWNEE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a pair of shootings in Topeka.
Just after 11p.m. Friday, police were dispatched to the the 2400 block of SW Burnett in Topeka, according to Lt. Ronnie Connell. Upon arrival, officers found that an 11-year-old girl was suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.
At 10:33 p.m. Friday, officers were dispatched to Saint Francis Hospital in Topeka in reference a victim with a gunshot wound. Upon arrival, officers found a 29 year old male who was suffering from a non-life-threatening wound to the abdomen.
Police have not released additional details or reported an arrest in these two incidents.
