MANHATTAN —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an aggravated assault in Manhattan and have made an arrest.

Just before noon Tuesday, officers filed a report for aggravated assault and interference with LEO in the 1100 block of Fremont Street in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department Activity report.

Officers listed multiple victims when it was reported a 30-year-old suspect identified as Skylar Scheible, 30, Manhattan, had threatened them with a firearm.

Officers arrested Scheible shortly after on requested charges of aggravated assault and interference with LEO.

Scheible was issued a total bond of $20,000.00 and is no longer confined in the Riley County Jail.
