RILEY COUNTY—One person died in an accident just before 6:30p.m. Thursday in Riley County.The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2006 GMC Sierra driven by Shane M.&nbsp; Lingenfelter, 44, Manhattan, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of Tallgrass Road thirteen miles southeast of Manhattan.The driver steered onto the north shoulder and struck a tree. The pickup rolled, struck a second tree and rolled into a creek. The pickup came to rest on the driver's side in the creek.Lingenfelter was pronounced dead at the scene and was transported to Frontier Forensics. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
