
SEDGWICK COUNTY — Law enforcement authorities are investigating a homicide and have made a second arrest.
On Wednesday, police arrested Ariana Cook, 29, Wichita, in connection with the investigation after the body of Roy Hayden was found in a vehicle on July 6 in 1500 Block of North Broadway in Wichita, according to officer Charley Davidson.
Cook made her first court appearance in the case Thursday, according to the Sedgwick County District Attorney's office and is charged with first degree murder and aggravated kidnapping.
On Tuesday, Matthew Small, 35, made his first court appearance and was charged with first-degree murder, aggravated kidnapping and criminal possession of a weapon by a felon in connection with Hayden's death, according to the district attorney's office.
More arrests are possible in the case, according to Davidson.

On July 6, police responded to the 1500 Block of North Broadway in Wichita where they found Hayden's body in a vehicle, according to officer Charley Davidson.
Small is being held on a bond of $250,000 and is due back in court September 17, according to the district attorney's office.
