LYON COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating an armed robbery and working to identify a suspect.
Just after 10:30p.m. Wednesday, police responded to a convenience store in the 1800 Block of Merchant Street in Emporia, according to a report from Crime Stoppers.
The suspect identified as a white female who possibly had a firearm, demanded money from an employee and left the store in a light colored car driven by an unknown person.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to contact police.
