
SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect wanted in connection with an Illinois robbery case.
Just after 4:30p.m. Monday, a sheriff's deputy conducted a traffic stop on a Chevy Impala in the 5600 block of SW Topeka Boulevard, according to deputy Shayna Anderson.
During the investigation, a K9 unit was deployed and narcotics were located inside the vehicle. The passenger identified as Trejon R. Raimey-Kirtdoll, 25, of Topeka was placed into custody and booked into the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges including possession of methamphetamine. He also had a misdemeanor warrant out of the City of Topeka and a felony warrant for robbery out of St. Clair County, Illinois, according to Anderson.
