Kan. woman jailed, assault rifles seized during drug bust

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating two suspects after a drug raid in Shawnee County.

On December 17, the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office Drug Enforcement Task Force conducted a search warrant in the 300 block of SE Lake Street, according to Deputy Abigail Christian.

Deputies seized seven long guns, including assault rifles during this investigation.

They arrested Mary Coleman, 65, of Topeka, on requested charges of possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia. They also arrested Torrello K. Cameron, 26, of Topeka, of requested charges for felon in possession of firearms and other narcotics violations.
