All zones at Milford Lake are in a warning status for blue green algae including the Gathering Pond below the Milford Lake Dam. The information was provided by the Corps of Engineers.
As of Friday the current lake elevation is 1147.39 which is 2.99 feet above normal. The inflow is 1270 cubic feet per second. The Corps reduced the release from 7000 cfs down to 4000 cfs on Thursday and planned to reduce it to 1500 cfs Friday with it remaining there until the target level of 1145.4 is reached.
