SALINE COUNTY —Police arrested a Kansas man early Friday morning on requested charges that included attempted aggravated burglary and stalking.
Just after 2:30a.m., a 30-year-old Salina woman reported at Brandon Letourneau, 28, of Salina, was attempting to force his way into her residence in the 900 block of Park Street in Salina, according to Police Captain Paul Forrester
Letourneau allegedly was striking the front door of the residence hard enough to leave dents in the door. The door sustained $150 in damage.
Forrester said the woman was home with three children and was able to identify Letourneau from her window.
Letourneau fled the scene before officers arrived, however, they found him hiding in the 200 block of N. College Avenue and arrested him on requested charges of Attempted aggravated burglary, Stalking, Violation of a protection order and Damage to property.
