PRATT COUNTY —Two people died in an accident just after 4:30a.m. Monday in Pratt County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2020 Hyundai Elantra driven by Jamie M.&nbsp;Swavely, 42, St. Louis, Missouri&nbsp;was overtaking two semis westbound on U.S. 54 in a no passing zone 

A 1983 Peterbilt semi driven by Juan Manuel Martinez, 54, Dodge City, then struck the Hyundai in the eastbound lane&nbsp;

Two passenger in the Hyundai Elizabeth Jean Glenn, 60 and&nbsp; Jayden Marie Swavley, 16, both of St. Louis, Missouri, were pronounced dead at the scene and were transported to&nbsp;Larrison Mortuary.&nbsp;

EMS transported Jamie Swavely to the hospital in Pratt. Martinez was not injured.&nbsp; Jayden Swavely was not wearing a seat belt, according to the KHP.
