SEDGWICK COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating an armed robbery have a suspect in custody.

Just before 8:30 p.m. Nov. 15, officers responded to an armed robbery call at the Dollar General, 4549 E. Pawnee in Wichita, according to officer Charley Davidson.

A store employee told  police a suspect entered the store armed with a machete and demanded money.  The suspect later identified as 20-year-old Davion Holloman took cash and then fled the store on foot.  No one was injured.

Through the investigation and after using social media to ask for help to identify the suspect, police learned of Holloman being involved in the robbery.

On Tuesday evening, officers contacted him in the 5500 block of East Harry in Wichita. Police arrested him after a brief foot pursuit.
