TOPEKA —Dr. Lee Norman, Secretary of the Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE), held a press briefing Wednesday afternoon to discuss the increase in coronavirus in Kansas. He said if the pandemic were a football game, we'd be near the end of the first quarter.
The state reported another 1,536 confirmed and probable cases of the virus since Monday, an increase of 4%. The total since the pandemic began is 39,937. The KDHE also said there were additional 11 deaths for a total of 437.
