Interstate 70 Westbound has now reopened late Friday, according to Kansas City Kansas Police. However, only the inside lane is clear. The middle and outside lanes remain closed to clear accident debris.
Westbound drivers were cautioned not to driver at full speed.
Authorities have not released additional details on the crash.

KANSAS CITY— Authorities say it may take until late Friday afternoon to reopen Interstate 70 to east and westbound traffic due to a fatal crash and fire in Kansas City, Kansas just east of The Legends Outlets.
According to KCK Police, eastbound traffic continues to be diverted at Interstate 435 and westbound at 78th Street.
Just after 7:30a.m. Friday, police responded to the crash that involved two semi trucks, according to KCK police. Check the Post for additional details as they become available.
