KANSAS CITY, Mo. —Law enforcement are investigating a fatal hit-and-and run involving a small child that occurred just before 6:30p.m. Monday in Kansas City, Missouri.
A marked Amazon delivery vehicle had just completed a package delivery in the 1800 block of E. 3rd Terrace in Kansas City, Missouri, according to KCPD Captain Jake Becchina.
After the delivery, the vehicle began traveling westbound on E. 3rd Terrace toward Woodland Avenue. At approximately the same time, a young child, under age 5, was playing in a grassy area of a nearby public park.
