Kan. man accused of 2 burglaries at a same business

SHAWNEE COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of burglaries and have made an arrest.

On January 28, officers were dispatched to the 900 Block of NW 25th street in Topeka on a report of an alarm activated at a business, according to Lt. Jerry Monasmith.

Upon arrival, officers located damage to the business and items missing.

Another burglary was reported at the same business on March 1 with similar results. As the investigation unfolded and through the assistance from the community, a person of interest was identified.

As a result of the investigation, Bradley Martin, 58 years of age, of Topeka, was transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections and booked in on requested charges, Burglary to a business, Two Counts, Theft, Two Counts and Criminal Damage to Property, Two Counts.
