Overlay work on East Street on the east side of Junction City will be undertaken Thursday, said Geary County Commission Chairman Keith Ascher.
Ascher noted that the commission was informed by the Public Works Department this week that they'll be doing an overlay on a short stretch from the roundabout at East Chestnut by I-70 north to the first four-way stop sign in that area.
