
BROWN COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect on multiple charges after a traffic stop.
Just after 9:30 p.m. Sunday, the Brown County law enforcement dispatch received a 911 call of reckless driver complaint westbound on U.S. 36 near Racoon Road, according to Sheriff John Merchant.
Deputies located the vehicle matching the description was in Hiawatha and a Brown County deputy immediately observed a defective brake light on the suspect vehicle and initiated a traffic stop.
While investigating, the deputy detected an odor of burnt marijuana coming from inside the vehicle. He arrested 18-year-old Fazzion Rush-Pruitt 18 of St Joseph, on requested charges of Operating a Motor
Vehicle Without a License, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
