
OSAGE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a Kansas woman on drug allegations.
Just after 3:30p.m. Tuesday, an Osage County Sheriff’s K-9 unit conducted a traffic stop in the 12100 block of South Topeka Avenue, near Carbondale, according to Sheriff Chris Wells. During the stop, a K-9 was deployed, and illegal narcotics were located.
The driver of the vehicle, Lana G. Carter, 60, of Lyndon, was taken into custody and transported to the Osage County Jail Facility on requested charges of Possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, Possession of drug paraphernalia, Interference with law enforcement and Driving while license is suspended.
