Kan. deputy finds stolen property during traffic stop

SHAWNEE COUNTY— Law enforcement authorities are investigating a suspect in connection with burglary.

Just after 9p.m. Wednesday,  a deputy conducted a car stop in the 2600 block of NE Sardou Avenue in Shawnee County, according to Sheriff Brian Hill.

The deputy located Zachary J. Kaberline, 39, of Topeka was inside the vehicle along with stolen property and drugs.

Deputies transported transported to the Shawnee County Department of Corrections on requested charges of possession of stolen property, possession of methamphetamine and multiple other drug related charges.
