Geary County Sheriff's authorities said Wednesday that all signs point to an accidental shooting in the death of Grady Erichsen, 10, of rural Geary County.
Deputies responded to a residence on Clark's Creek Road on June 14th after a report that a juvenile, a boy, had been shot. EMS transported Erichsen to Geary Community Hospital where he died.
In the news release Wednesday Sheriff's Captain David Gilbert, noted that the community had grieved together at the loss of life at such a young age. Gilbert said the Sheriff's office wanted to be thorough in the matter and are still waiting on a few items to return, but all signs point to an accidental shooting.
