SEDGWICK COUNTY—Law enforcement authorities are investigating a shooting in Wichita and have made an arrest.

Just before 8 pm, Wednesday, police were dispatched to a Wichita hospital for a walk-in victim with a gunshot wound to his chest, according to Officer Juan Rebolledo.  The 50-year-old man had serious but non-life-threatening injuries. He underwent surgery and is in stable condition.
