Due to COVID-19, the Dorothy Bramlage Public Library will be unable to hold their annual American Girl Tea Party this year. Ticket sales from that event normally go toward the library's book donation program - DBPL at DBPL: Donating Books to Promote Literacy at Dorothy Bramlage Public Library. The goal is to donate free, new books to different community organizations in Geary County.
This year the library will have a DBPL at DBPL Prize Raffle Drawing that includes the 2020 American Girl Doll - Joss. There will also be other prizes where participants can have a chance to win. Prizes will include the Joss book set, a Joss shoulder bag, the American Girl Caroline book set, a stuffed animal, a mermaid beach towel, cheerleader hair ribbons, two design your own tumbler sets and a tote bag.
The cost of tickets for the Prize Raffle Drawing Drawing tickets are $2 each. Patrons can purchase as many as they would like. Sept. 17 is the deadline to purchase a ticket. On Sept. 18 at 3:15 p.m. the library will announce the winners of the raffle prizes on Facebook Live. Winners will also be notified by telephone or email.
