Geary County health officials confirmed on Friday that there are eight new positive cases of COVID-19. They include men ages 40, 32, 22, 51 and 25 plus women ages 21, 60 and 19.
There are currently 36 active cases in Geary County and one person hospitalized. There have been two deaths and there are 30 persons under investigation where test results are pending.
