KANSAS CITY—Law enforcement are investigating another homicid in Kansas City, Missouri.
Just after 11p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 8100 block of Wayne Avenue in Kansas City, Missouri, according to Officer Alayna Gonzalez.
First responers found a male victim near the front porch of a residence suffering from apparent, gunshot trauma and unresponsive. EMS responded and transported the victim to an area hospital with life-threatening injuries for medical treatment. Officers on scene were notified by hospital staff the victim had succumb to his injuries and was declared deceased.
An unknown male subject of interest, left the scene prior to police arrival.
This incident is being investigated as a homicide. Police released no additional information.
