 </figure>&nbsp;Geary Community Hospital is pleased to welcome Dr. Richard Slusher, Board Certified Orthopedic Surgeon to the Flint Hills Orthopedic &amp; Sports Medicine Clinic. Dr. Slusher will join, Dr. Stephanie Baker and Danielle Bedore, PA.&nbsp;&nbsp;Dr. Slusher received his undergraduate degree in Biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, and his&nbsp;Osteopathic Medical Degree from the University of Health Science College of Osteopathic Medicine of Kansas City, Missouri. As an orthopedic surgeon in the Unites States Army, he served as the primary surgeon for the 82nd Airborne Division at Fort Bragg North Carolina with deployments to Afghanistan and Iraq.&nbsp;After completing his orthopedic training at Midwest University in Olympia Fields, Illinois, Dr. Slusher spent a year in a Sports Medicine Fellowship at the University of Cincinnati / Wellington Sport Medicine and Orthopedics where he took care of high school athletes, Division I Collegiate athletes, as well as professional athletes.&nbsp;While serving with the 82nd Airborne Division &amp; Special Operations at Fort Bragg, he took care of a wide variety of sports injuries which allowed soldiers to return to duty.&nbsp;&nbsp;The Flint Hills Orthopedic &amp; Sports Medicine Clinic is in Medical Arts Building 1 in Suite 101.
