Traffic on Saint Mary's Road will be inconvenienced during road improvements while a contractor is milling the roadway. Works will need to follow posted work zone signs and pay attention to the construction traffic during this street maintenance program project.
Areas to be milled and overlaid include St. Mxary's from Ash to a cul-de-sac, Jefferson from 6th to Ash, Pine Street from Jefferson to Adams, Chestnut from Webster to Spruce, Crestview from Chestnut to Chestnut, Sunset from 4th to 4th Street, 4th from Garfield to Monroe, Spruce from Washington to Bunker Hill, Barnhill Cirle to the end of a cul-de-sac.
Junction City Public Works said all businesses and residents within the affected area will be provided access.
The work involved will consist of milling two inhes of existing roadway and replacing it with a new two inch asphalt overlay.
