WYANDOTTE COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities investigating a deadly weekend shooting have identified the man who died as 19-year-old Philip C. Bagby Jr. of Kansas City, Kansas.
Just after 5p.m. Saturday, police were dispatched to report of a shooting in the 1500 block of N. 5th Street in Kansas City, according to a media release.
First responders discovered Bagby and a juvenile who had both been struck by gunfire. Both victims were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Once at the hospital, Bagby was pronounced deceased. The juvenile remains in stable condition, according to police.
