JUNCTION CITY, Kan. — The Junction City Lady Jay softball team swept its home double-header against Wichita North on Wednesday. Taking the first game 11-0 in five innings, and game two 14-4 in six innings.
The offense came in bunches for the Lady Jays, with a home run coming from Ava Deguzman, and an inside-the-park-homerun coming from Abby Ratts.
Megan Hunt pitched a stellar outing in the first game, holding the Redskins scoreless, and with just a handful of hits.
The Lady Jays improved to 3-1 on the season, and will host Emporia on Tuesday, April 6 at Cleary Field in Junction City.
