FINNEY COUNTY —Law enforcement authorities are investigating a series of burglaries and have made two arrests.
On Friday, police reported they located Raymon Herrera, 24, Garden City, in the parking lot of Western Motors, 309 E Fulton Street, according to Sergeant Lana Urteaga. Herrera was arrested on requested charges of Burglary.
Police also reported the arrest of Ernest Virgil Whisler, 35, Garden City in connection with four auto burglaries in Garden City. Whisler is still in custody, according to online jail records.
Affidavits requesting the charge of Burglary for each incident have been forwarded to the Finney County Attorney’s Office for review, according to Urteaga.
