The Topeka High Trojans brought an end to the season for the Junction City Blue Jay football season Friday night. The Trojans defeated Junction City 35 to 14 in round 3 of the Class 6A post-season playoffs in Topeka. Trojans running back Ty Thomas rushed for 3 touchdowns in the win. The Blue Jays failed to capitalize on a pair of scoring opportunities inside the red zone and wound up on the short end of the score. Junction City finished the season 8 - 3. Topeka High advanced to the 6A semi-finals against Derby next Friday night. Derby defeated Manhattan 56 - 0 Friday.
